A series of strategically placed thick walls bracket the center of the gallery and allow for a broad range of media from wall paintings to video projections to be exhibited together. The exhibition, curated by Sarah Hearne, brought together a diverse range of architects, filmmakers, and artists who deploy novel techniques for mediating the physical world. The exhibition design thoughtfully considered the dialogues that could emerge between the multiple documentary methods, and through the placement of chunky wall “corners” encouraged adjacencies and counter arguments to form between the works.
